Attorney Profile

Jarian Lyons was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and graduated from Woodham High School in 1998 where he received a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship to attend college. Jarian is a three-time graduate of Florida A & M University. Jarian's first degree was earned in Political Science in 2002 where he graduated cum laude and straight from undergrad, he earned a Masters in Applied Social Sciences in 2003. Jarian ended his FAMU education by earning a J.D. in May of 2006 as a member of the second class since the re-opening of the law school in 2002.

While in law school, he was a member of the Jesse McCrary Chapter of the Black Law Students Association and also served as Parliamentarian of the Student Bar Association from 2003-2004. Jarian was also a Certified Legal Intern with the Orange County Public Defender’s Office and the FAMU Housing Clinic. Jarian credits his desire for excellence and focus to his mother, who often worked two jobs during his youth yet encouraged him to be involved in several after school activities including varsity basketball and performing arts.

Parks & Crump first welcomed Jarian in 2003 as a volunteer intern and then again as a law clerk during the summer of 2005. Jarian is married to Trinetta D. Lyons who is Assistant General Counsel with the Florida Board of Bar Examiners and a member of Florida A&M University’s Inaugural class since its reopening in 2002.
